About Raymer Group

Raymer Group is developing a high-calorie animal feed additive made with upcycled soybean oil for livestock applications.

The challenge

Raymer Group required support to finalize a formulation that would remain stable during storage and use while meeting shelf-life, cost, and large-scale distribution requirements.

Approach

  • Conducted formulation development to improve product stability
  • Evaluated ingredient selection and processing considerations
  • Assessed shelf-life performance under expected storage conditions
  • Provided food safety guidance to support product quality
  • Delivered recommendations for packaging and distribution formats

Results

  • Developed a formulation that demonstrated stability under test conditions
  • Identified a preferred formulation to guide the next stage of development
  • Provided clear direction on ingredient selection and handling
  • Delivered recommendations to support consistent product performance
  • Generated data to inform pilot-scale testing and commercialization

Why it matters

This work supports Raymer Group in advancing an upcycled product toward market readiness. The project helps:

  • Create value from excess agricultural inputs
  • Improve product consistency and performance
  • Enable scalable production and distribution
  • Support more sustainable approaches to animal feed development
