Supporting the transition of internationally educated nurses into Canadian practice
This project examined how internationally educated nurses adapt to nursing education and practice in Canada, with a focus on identifying supports that can ease the transition.
Exploring the life-affirming impact of wish-granting for older adults
Conestoga’s Centre for Health Care Research & Innovation partnered with Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime to lead a research study on the impact of a wish-granting program for older adults.
Supporting internationally educated health care workers
This research examined the experiences of internationally educated nursing and personal support worker students at Conestoga College, as well as insights from industry stakeholders, faculty, and hiring managers, to identify strategies for improving onboarding and workplace support.
