Andrew Pariser
Vice president, RESCON
Andrew Pariser is a is the vice-president of Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON) and specializes in health and safety, training and apprenticeship, and labour relations. Andrew is the chair of both the RESCON Health and Safety committee and Training and Apprenticeship committee and sits on multiple health and safety committees working closely with the IHSA, chief prevention office (MLITSD), and WSIB.
Andrew’s passion for health and safety began during his eight years with the Ontario Ministry of Labour in the mediator services division where he interacted with all sectors of Ontario economy including the industrial, manufacturing, service, and construction industries. This passion continued with his appointment to the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan (IFEBP) Apprentice, Training and Education Board (2017-2018) and IFEBP Canadian Board (2018-2021), In short, health and safety impacts all aspects of every business. Since 2014 the RESCON health and safety committee has expanded their focus to include mental health and wellness, fit for duty, DEI and a focus on how to better recruit, onboard, and retain underrepresented workers.
Andrew graduated from Queen’s University with a BAH (economics and geography) in 2006 and again in 2007 with a master's in industrial relations. In 2020, he became a Certified Association Executive (CAE) completing the Canadian Society of Association Executive (CSAE) requirements
