Meaghan Davey, M.Sc. (part-time)
Researcher
In her role as a researcher at the Centre for Health Care Research & Innovation, Meaghan works under the direction of the associate director to develop, implement, and evaluate applied health research projects. Her research interests include collaborations with community organizations and industry partners, inclusive communities, equitable access to care, education and workforce needs, data analysis, and knowledge translation.
Meaghan holds an undergraduate degree in health studies from the University of Waterloo and nursing from Western University. She also holds a M.Sc. in epidemiology and biostatistics from Western University.
To date, she has presented in 14 academic conferences and published 11 peer-reviewed journal articles. Meaghan has co-developed several large research projects at Conestoga College valued over $4 million in the past five years.
Given the unprecedented growth in degree programs and applied research now available to colleges in Ontario, Meaghan is thrilled at the prospects for the accelerating demand for applied health research at Conestoga.
