Data analyst
Mohammad Howard-Azzeh has a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Guelph, as well as an M.Sc. in biology from McMaster University and a B.Sc. in biotechnology from Brock University.
Mohammad has focused his research on establishing the spatial epidemiology of all overdose deaths across Canada, with further consideration on the impact of legislation, occupation and other factors on the overdose death of Canadians.
His work pivots around using a wide range of analytical techniques to establish the fundamental epidemiology — identifying trends, risk factors and spatial distribution — of accidental drug poisonings of companion dogs in the U.S.A. This has led to further analysis of the impact of human drug patterns and legislation on the risk of unintentional dog poisoning occurrences.
Throughout his work, Mohammad has implemented various analytical techniques to identify and quantify different variables associated with an elevated risk of workplace injury.
