
Pete Driezen, PhD
Senior data analyst
Pete Driezen is a senior data analyst at the Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance. An accomplished quantitative researcher, Pete brings 25 years of experience in epidemiology, biostatistics and survey methodology to CISWP. He specializes in applying modern statistical methods to analyze population health data to inform health policy and decision-making at local, national and international levels.
His research interests lie in understanding how the local environment, including where we live and work, influences human health and well-being. Pete holds a PhD in public health and health systems from the University of Waterloo, an M.Sc. in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario, and an honours B.Sc. in health studies and gerontology from the University of Waterloo.
