Saleh Jiddawi, MBA
Director, research operations
Saleh Jiddawi (Sal) is the director, Research Operations, at Conestoga College. Sal has a research project management, digital transformation, and engineering background.
He holds a nanotechnology engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Sal initiated several successful interdisciplinary applied research projects in his previous role at Sheridan College’s Centre for Advanced Manufacturing. He also led efforts to transform business processes to improve transparency and access to ongoing operational data.
At Fraser Health Authority, the largest health authority in British Columbia, Sal led the digital transformation of the full-cycle contract management process for three departments.
At The Xerox Research Centre of Canada, his contributions as a material science technologist enabled Xerox scientists to invent new materials. The new materials resulted in two patents in the additive manufacturing space.
