With over 30 years of diverse industry experience in various sectors, Steve has played a vital role in EllisDon’s commitment to health and safety. Since joining the company in 2018, Steve has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative safety programs and initiatives that have distinguished EllisDon as an industry leader.   

Recognized as a highly influential, and results-driven executive, Steve has an exceptional track record of success in assessing, developing, implementing, and measuring health, safety, and environmental management systems. In 2021 Steve was awarded the Roy A. Phinnemore Award presented by the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association which recognizes individuals who have diligently served the cause of construction health and safety through services, contributions, inventions, procedures. Steve also currently sits as the chair of the Prevention Council of Ontario.
