Steve is from Hamilton, Ontario. Steve is a technology leader, entrepreneur, and software engineer with nearly two decades of experience spanning software development, hardware innovation, and blockchain technology.

As CTO of HITCH Tech Inc., an education technology company, Steve has led the development of smart mesh networking hardware and managed a multi-disciplinary team.

Steve's work included conducting business in Africa, navigating trade barriers, and expanding technology solutions in emerging markets.

Steve’s expertise spans full-stack development, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, AI-driven platforms, and Web3 applications.

Steve has worked with major organizations such as Qualcomm, Thomson Reuters, Postmedia, and has contributed to blockchain research as a Flow Foundation Scholar.  

Steve holds a master of business, entrepreneurship, and technology from the University of Waterloo, a bachelor of technology in computing and information technology from McMaster University, and an advanced diploma (honours) in computer science technology – software engineering (co-op) from Mohawk College. additionally, he earned a diploma (honours) in business – marketing from Mohawk College and is a Certified Management Consultant.
