Tanya M. Staples, CFP®
Professor
Tanya M. Staples, is a CFP® Professional and financial planning professor at Conestoga College. Tanya spent 15 years in private practice and volunteering to support the development of technical knowledge curriculum for the Certified Financial Planner® designation.
She hold a honours bachelor's degree in political science and French from Wilfrid Laurier, a master's in political science/labour studies from McMaster University and is a third-year PhD student at Kansas State University’s personal financial planning program.
Tanya is a FP Canada Planning Assumption Guidelines Committee member, an Editorial Board member of the Financial Planning Research Journal and a Taskforce member for the Canadian Centre for Women’s Empowerment.
