Tim Gibbins

Tim Gibbins, MBA

Director, research engagement

Tim Gibbins is the director, Research Engagement, in Conestoga's Office of Research Services. Tim has a background in manufacturing and automation and has worked in the region for more than 25 years in a variety of business development roles.

He holds a B.Sc. in computer science and economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from York University.

Prior to joining Conestoga in 2019, Tim worked with the Ontario Centres of Excellence for five years as a business development manager collaborating with local industries and post-secondary institutions on a variety of funded research and innovation projects.

Tim has also worked in business development roles at ATS Automation Tooling Systems and BWXT.
