Food packaging innovation guide helps small bakeries learn and navigate options

The Conestoga Food Research and Innovation Lab has published a guide to innovations in food packaging to help small bakeries find accessible suppliers, low-minimum-order-quantity options, labels, cartons and basic automation to move their operations toward sustainability.
Released Oct. 5 at an industry event at Conestoga College’s Cambridge, Ont., campus, the Canadian Food Packaging Innovation Guide was developed through applied research activities funded by Dawn Foods and supported by industry stakeholders.
