Dough Parlour created a process that produces playdough from food grade ingredients that is resistant to mold growth. They collaborated with the Conestoga Food Research & Innovation Lab to test the shelf-life for the mold-resistant dough. The Centre for Commercialization identified patentable subject matter and made recommendations on the IP positioning.

In collaboration with the CFRIL, Chilly Paste Co. created a proprietary formulation for a food paste that allows for quick meal preparation. The Centre for Commercialization provided an IP strategy to build a strong brand.

Terra Bio created an extraction process that uses spent grains from breweries to produce protein and fiber products. They collaborated with the Conestoga Food Research & Innovation Lab to understand how this alternative protein source compares to other protein sources. The Centre for Commercialization identified gaps in Terra Bio’s filed patent application.

Ezok is led by a student entrepreneur from the Conestoga Entrepreneurship Collective, which has created a novel insurance quote generation platform that produces quotes in real-time and provides high security against cybersecurity threats. The Centre for Commercialization identified patentable subject matter in Ezok’s back-end architecture.

Belco Doors created an innovative swing door elevator interlock that prevents the elevator from moving when the doors are not properly closed.
