Project based learning integrates real world challenges directly into curriculum. Over the last ten years, Conestoga, through funding provided by various provincial and federal funding agencies, has engaged industry partners on projects spanning the full breadth of academic programming offered by the institute.

The intent of this research study and possible future studies is to identify which monopolar (DC) electrical currents created from alternating currents (AC) are hazardous to life and which are not.

As COVID-19 took hold as a global pandemic, the integrity of supply chains were compromised. The robustness of supply chain integrity can be improved through improved organizational collaboration and communication. As organizations look to shore up their supply chains, by improving efficiencies and effectiveness, blockchain technologies may be a catalyst for change over the coming years. This document outlines findings from a survey of Canadian supply chain organizations related to their readiness to adopt blockchain technologies in the fall of 2021.

School board trustees play an important role in the education of children throughout Ontario. Using an online survey of Ontario residents, expectations of school board trustees are explored in detail. The survey included an open-ended question that asked respondents what role they see being performed by trustees, as well as a question that asked respondents whether they preferred a “delegate” governing model, which believes trustees should represent constituents, or a “trustee” model, which believes trustees should render decisions based on their best judgement.

This research is part of a larger study exploring the impact of COVID-19 on the wellbeing and social connections of PLWD and CPs. In this presentation, findings from qualitative interviews conducted with CPs of PLWD in LTC homes are shared.
